Where in the world.........

As a family us Walters’s have travelled the world and done many exciting things.
We all went to Japan and peared down mount Aso before it volcanically erupted.

Got out just in time

We all travelled the 28hrs to New Zealand to undertake some level 3 (tame) white water rafting.

Hard at work at Hot Water Beach, North Island, New Zealand

We have all skied in France, Italy and Switzerland, and all taken a tumble at some point.

Struggling on the slopes

Most of us set sail in Croatia.
We have done Disney to death.
Three of us fly drove down the west coast of California, and excelled at hanging off the side of a San Franciscan cable car.

Hard at work wine tasting in the Napa Valley

Walking on Malibu Beach is sooooo stressful

A different three of us climbed to the crown of the Statue of Liberty in New York harbour.
We have cruised round Iceland and Norway, through the Baltic, round The Med and across The
Adriatic.

Cruising is very tiring

Like Daniel Craig in Portugal

Ian and I travelled to Sri Lanka and saw an Elephant strolling down the road.

Ian feeling shattered in Sri Lanka

Perked up a bit round the pool

We drove from Calgary to Vancouver and saw bears, a wolf and loads of whales.

Relaxing after a long days drive

Now, we are tired. We need a break from this relentless fun. We need something we never thought we would want. Ian and I are going on ‘A Beach Holiday’!!!!!
We intend to wake up late, laze in bed till lunchtime, then maybe go for a short walk on a beach before lazing around some more. Doesn't it sound like heaven?
To do this intensive lazing around we will be flying halfway around the world, to Thailand. And because I know you love it, you, my trusted blogees, will be getting daily updates.
If I decide to lounge by the pool, you will know. If Ian goes for a swim in the warm waters of the Andaman Sea, I will tell you. What will we eat for lunch? That knowledge will soon be imparted across the continents.

A sample of Ian’s lunch

Unfortunately, there will not be the famous ‘zero dark thirty’ post, beacause as befits a ‘Beach Holiday’, our flight dosen’t leave until 8.30 in the evening. What a leisurely day we shall have.
But I don’t want to give too much away, so keep watching for the first episode of ‘Beach Holiday-The Blog’, coming next Sunday.

Imagine......

Homeward bound

We woke to our last day in Thailand after another 11 hour sleep for me, and I felt so much better. We threw back the curtains to the same am...
